A message from Director Stephanie Jensen regarding COVID-19

Let’s Stay #StrongTogether-

The Corona virus (COVID-19) pandemic has changed the way we live and work.

We are pleased that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has designated our business as critical to the nation’s infrastructure, and we have been identified as an essential service which gives BASF more control in our efforts to manufacture and deliver products to our customers in a safe and timely manner.

As you well know, a pest can show itself as a plant disease, a weed, insect or rodent. We know that you view us as an important component in your operation to safely and reliably provide the products you need to combat these pests. That’s why we have implemented strict measures at our facilities to promote worker safety, including entry screenings, shift staggering and intensive cleaning measures.

We are closely monitoring the situation and continuously evaluating the likely consequences to our business depending on the severity, spread and duration of the pandemic. Information and conditions are continuing to change rapidly for us all, and it may not be possible to provide an update on each new development or requirement; however, we will be focused upon specific customer needs as we navigate this continually evolving environment.

As always, the health and safety of our people, your family and your business, as well as the communities we all call home, are our top priority.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to your local BASF representative.
